Cloudium Systems today launches its innovative cloudRDP software for next-generation zero client and thin client for desktop virtualization. cloudRDP software is aimed at OEMs seeking to create low cost high-performance client devices. Cloudium Systems is focused on developing products and solutions for virtual desktops and cloud computing and it's cloudRDP software enables OEM to quickly and cost-effectively develop client devices. The cloudRDP software is built on two years of development around Microsoft's RDP and RemoteFX technology. The benefits for OEMs are easy integration onto ARM and x86 based platforms, easy customization combined with high-performance operation. The cloudRDP software is a performance optimized stack to build clients that support the latest Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). The software includes support for Microsoft’s recently released RemoteFX to enable full motion video, transparent USB redirection and audio connections. The software includes an integrated graphical user interface (GUI) to provide an easy mechanism to create advanced interfaces for users to interact and manage a client device. The software is currently proven on ARM-based processors but has been designed to be highly portable. It has been ported to ARM9 and Cortex based devices. Currently support for Citrix protocols is being added.
