Cloudium Systems is a pioneer in the creation of innovative high-performance solutions for rich media applications spanning desktop virtualization to IPTV. Our goal is to provide the same high fidelity user experience in a network or cloud environment as a user would experience directly from their local computing resource, but at significantly reduced cost. Having previously specialized in helping IT managers centralise and control their datacentre infrastructure remotely, the management team looked to the desktop market to find opportunities to leverage this expertise. We discovered that IT managers are facing major desktop challenges such as cost, control, compliance and security. The solution is centralizing the desktop computing resource, and the key component of this implementation is virtualization.  The major technical challenge to this concept is to deliver the promise of virtualization without compromising the desktop experience. Cloudium Systems was formed to solve these problems. Our People

The company was founded by veterans of networking and virtualization solutions with the support of experienced business advisors. We have a track record of creating new businesses and bringing new products to market based on technological innovations, currently holding 21 patents within the team. Our design team have vast experience in the development of multi-million gate designs and embedded software solutions. We have partnered and licensed technology from Microsoft Corporation to incorporate into our solutions offering.

Our Vision

At Cloudium Systems, we believe that IT is on the verge of shifting from being a packaged service, to a utility. Companies and users can decide how, when and where they require the utility. The prime enablers in this shift are virtualization and cloud computing.  This movement will see the emergence of the pervasive desktop.
